Mike McMahon, a local Savannahian, he opened The Fish in 2007. Mike has worked in the seafood restaurant business all his life. He is continuing to bring Savannah the best of local traditional flavors in a relaxed atmosphere. The Fish is the place to come and enjoy yourself with great food, great drinks, great outside seating and great company. Our secret? It's not that big of one, to be honest.
Cool atmosphere for a casual dining experience. We were able time our visit just right and caught some late afternoon live music on the patio. The food is good and completely met the expectation of this type of casual seafood restaurant. I would go back.
We vacationed in Savannah recently. This was the best place we ate while we were there. I had the cilantro lime grilled shrimp tacos. My husband had the crispy fried mahi sandwich, it was huge! My friends and I split the blacken shrimp queso dip. Everything was delicious! I would absolutely recommend eating here.
Steam Pot was so good! Best corn I've ever had and the price was right on point! So much food for such little money! Our server was a dol and made sure that we were well taken care of! The atmosphere was really neat and had an eclectic Island vibe. Very Tybee-esq. Will be back!
Super great service. Waitress was really nice and prompt. Great outdoor seating with a nice atmosphere. The food was great as well. I honestly just expected bar food, but it wasn't at all. The presentation was nice and the flavor was great. Portion sizes were huge though! I couldn't even finish 1/8 of my pasta. Fish tacos were amazing!
This place is amazing. Just great vibes and excellent food! If you live here, you have to come to this fascinating restaurant. If you're visiting for whatever reason this has to be on you're place to eat. Live music on the weekends, awesome staff and indoor and outdoor seating. Fun for friends and family, definitely recommend!
